Journaling
How to record an entry, and what Unloop does with it.
Journaling is spoken
You talk, Unloop listens. There is no typed journal, which is deliberate: speaking gets past the editing you do when you write, and how you say something carries information the words alone do not.
How to record an entry
- 1Open the app and press the microphone.
- 2Say a few lines about how the day went.
- 3Stop when you have finished. There is no minimum.
What Unloop reads in it
Your entry is processed as you speak it, and what is pulled out is the structure underneath: the thoughts you had, the emotions attached to them, what was stressing you, and the overall sentiment.
Across entries, those are what surface a pattern. One day on its own tells you very little. The value comes from what keeps returning.
Your recording is not kept
Unloop does not store your raw journal text or your voice recordings. Only the structured insights extracted from them are saved to your account. This is in the privacy policy, and it is not a setting you have to find and switch on.
